Dr. Reilly recieved his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, from Bastyr University, and has studied Acupuncture and Shiatsu at the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture, plus he has been involved with meditation and martial arts for many years. He holds an M.S. from the University of Arkansas, and a B.S. from Roger Williams University. Prior to recieving his doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Reilly was a Research Scientist focussed on Animal Nutrition. He is a published scientific author, and has worked designing nutritional products and testing protocols in the public and private sectors. He is noted for his down to earth professionalism, his broad base of knowledge and his good sense of humor.
He focusses his practice on preventative and regenerative medicine. He specializes in non-opioid pain management, regenerative therapies and weight optimization. Additonally, he uses natural approaches to: mental health; auto-immune diseases; hormone balancing, nutritional counselling, adjunctive cancer care, age management, functional medicine and family medicine.
His approach takes into account both Eastern and Western medicine. His scientific background and interest in research brings an advanced clinical approach that is both grounded in evidence and diverse. Each treatment follows an effective methodology that is beneficial to everyone but tailored to a patient's individual needs.
His treatment plans in regenerative medicine and pain management include injection therapies, acupuncture, naturopathic manipulation, lifestyle therapies, sports massage, nutrient therapies to eliminate side effects of opiates and other synthetic medications. He is medical marijuana friendly.

He is an eclectic practitioner with experience in health counseling patients with mental health diagnoses while addressing nutritional and cognitive health through natural means. His treatments have helped patients cope with depression, anxiety, addiction, bipolar disorder, other mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, ADD/ADHD, and is he comfortable with helping patients get back to normal, especially kids dealing with bullying, divorce, trauma, or death in the family.
He has worked in treating patients suffering from low back pain, Migraine headache, obesity, fatigue, insomnia, closed head injuries, diabetes, hypertension, autoimmune disorders like SLE (lupus), or Lymes as well as neurological disorders.
Dr. Josh, as his patients like to call him, has further training in nutritional therapies, age management, pediatrics and functional medicine. His treatment plans emphasize diet and lifestyle changes, herbal medicine, acupuncture, nutritional supplementation, and IV nutrition when needed.
Dr. Reilly's approach is well suited for patients with; severe & chronic pain, past injuries, interest in naturopathic primary care, interest in alternative and regenerative medicine, diabetes, interest in general wellness, family wellness, emotional health, weight optimization, and sports and exercise conditioning.
He also prescribes conventional prescription medications and therapies where appropriate.
